Claudia has been a respected member of the Ottawa musical community since 1978, both as a teacher and performer. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Ottawa where she studied with French pianist Jean-Paul Sevilla, alongside colleagues Angela Hewitt and Andrew Tunis. Recent concerts include the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival where she premiered “Album for Piano” by Canadian composer, Steven Gellman; the Music and Beyond Festival; and the world premiere of Elegy by Colin Mack with chamber orchestra, Thirteen Strings. Claudia is featured on the CD “Imprints”, music by Colin Mack.
Claudia is a longtime member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, the Canadian Federation Music Teachers Association, Gloucester Music Teachers Association, Musical Arts Club, the Musicians Federation of Ottawa-Gatineau, and is a founding member of the Ottawa New Music Creators.
